It had not been renovated for the last 12 years and needed a breath of fresh air. The apartment even though it still looked bright, airy and inviting in its old condition, just wasn't representing my client. She was after bold and soothing, a juxtaposition of feelings. Working from home she needed the structure and built-ins of office space in a strong aesthetic but then wanted to also be able to switch off and be at peace in the same setting, which drove the colour schedule for the master bedroom, inviting a soft and peaceful setting. The second bedroom, needed a dynamic and invigorating feel and the overall look needed to be a soft take on Industrial.
